I loved the first Captain America, so I’m looking forward to this one. And you’ve got me really curious about that subplot! I’m looking forward to the rest of your A-Z posts.

I am so glad to have discovered your blog so thanks so much for stopping by mine. I love Marvel comics and usually am the only stay at home mom watching these comic action flicks without my kids. My teenage girls don’t like action movies. 🙁 I love Captain America and don’t even get me started on Chris Evans. Enjoyed your review. Keep up the good work. Good luck with the A-Z challenge and Happy Writing!

Hey – thanks for such a great review. I’m not a comic action fan, but my grandson will LOVE this. I’m going to show him your blog and Hub will take him to the movie. I do, however, like buff men in UnderArmour – have sent plenty of that clothing to deployed troops. (grin)

Thank you! I think it has a lot of great story, but definitely an action movie.

I really enjoyed the b-plot, but there is only so much they can get in the time limit I suppose :). I want to see it again so I can absorb even more of the details and actually get to see the second end credits scene (stupid people made us move because they wanted to get out and we got swept to the door). That’s why I prefer seeing films in uncrowded cinemas.

I agree, there were cuts due to time, but like any fan I wanted more. And I am looking forward to watching it again too. I missed a bit of the first end credit scene and want to watch in IMAX 3D too!

I am a horrible movie person. I love to watch movies but my deeply engrained culture at yelling at the screen is probably not allowed. The best for me is at home or the drive-in. At the drive-in I can yell at the characters and look like an idiot and not bother anyone. At home I pause, rewind, turn down the volume if the sound is scary. I look forward to seeing this movie as I love any comic related movies….even if they are not true to characters (bugs the crap outta me but I still watch them).

I love seeing movies at the drive-in! It’s a totally different way to absorb movies.

Good review Zac. While the first half is extremely good, well paced and electrifying in the action scenes, the movie soon becomes bloated with silly revelations and twists. Still though, most of it is fun to watch.
